Grants

The Bahmann Foundation's mission is to reduce isolation of low-income, older adults through technology. This is accomplished by granting funds to non-profit, charitable organizations that provide applicable servicse in the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky region. Foundation grants help fund programs and purchase equipment that stimulate mental and physical activity in elderly adults.

The Bahmann Foundation has recognized several methods for helping improve the conditions of low-income, elderly adults. Funded grants have helped reduce isolation through the following services:

Hearing services and devices

The Bahmann Foundation provides the latest in hearing technology to its grantees. Hearing aids from Widex, Seimens, and Starkey, assistive listening devices from Williams Sound, and professional evaluation by our Nurses and Audiologists give our recipients the best chance for success in better communication.

Eligibility for Grants

The Bahmann Foundation is a private foundation that makes contributions to pre-selected charitable organizations and does not accept unsolicited applications for funds or equipment. Organizations must provide services in the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky region. The foundation makes grants only to non-profit, charitable organizations as described in section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service Code, but not to private foundations as defined in Section 509(a) of the code.
